Our name, THE DRIFT KITCHEN, may be new, but our team has been serving Santa Monica & Orange County for years. Now, we are excited to be taking our kitchen on the road to our sister location, ROCKETSHIP COFFEE. We will be announcing exciting pop-ups and events, out of our West Hollywood location.
Our passion is for casual coastal cuisine and serving our communities the best of what our seasons, oceans, and local farms have to offer.
We are all about taking the time to perfectly ferment our bread dough, source sustainable seafood, craft a mouth watering burger, and blend the best seasonal ingredients to create exciting plates for our guests.

Meet The Chefs
Let us introduce our amazing Chef couple, Eddie and Colleen, Salcedo. You’ve experienced some of their menu items since opening, including our pizza.
Colleen and Eddie are both Southern California natives and have made a name for themselves in a couple of Orange County restaurants (Pizzeria Ortica and 2145 Eats). They’ve also studied and worked both domestically and internationally in Italy and Japan (the inspiration for the “Japanese-influenced Neapolitan style pizza”). Marrying their years of experience with Italian Cuisine and Neapolitan Pizza with the diverse bouquet that California Cuisine offers, Chef Eddie and Colleen, take the best of both worlds and offer our unique dining experience to Santa Monica and beyond.

“We seized the opportunity to join our friends for the rebranding of PBLC TRDE to THE DRIFT KITCHEN. We immediately thought about the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market and its beautiful California produce. Combining expertise in Italian cuisine and the art of pizza making, THE DRIFT KITCHEN’s menu will showcase an array of house-made breads, well-crafted salumi boards, a perfectly designed pizza selection, along with seasonal and local ingredients and specials. It has always been a dream of ours to work alongside each other and do what we love to do, which is cooking.”
